51ºÚÁÏ provides a comprehensive array of development opportunities for faculty at every stage of their careers. From continuous education and career mentoring to leadership development, sabbaticals, and various awards promoting research and creative activity, we are dedicated to offering the support faculty need to thrive in their careers. This, in turn, enables them to enhance student success.

The at 51ºÚÁÏ is dedicated to supporting faculty and staff through professional development. CETI serves as 51ºÚÁÏ’s hub for professional development, aiming to enhance teaching practices and promote academic excellence. Programs include AI workshops, pre-tenure faculty mentoring circles, course development, and pedagogy development workshops.

The Office of Academic and Student Affairs offers regular promotion and tenure workshops, New Faculty Orientation, New Administrator Orientation, mentoring such as the Associate-to-Full Professor semester-long program, and regular "Faculty Connections" activities.

The 51ºÚÁÏ Leadership Institute (51ºÚÁÏLI) is a transformative leadership development program designed to prepare and inspire 51ºÚÁÏ’s future academic leaders. Open to faculty and academic staff at all levels, the Institute equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives needed to excel in current and future leadership roles.

51ºÚÁÏ offers an annual opportunity for faculty members to grow professionally, to remain current with developments in their disciplines, and to infuse these experiences into the classroom to enhance student learning through the awarding of Sabbaticals, Project Grants, and Summer Fellowships, as articulated in the 51ºÚÁÏ Faculty Handbook.
