STEM Scholarships: 51��, Greater Cincinnati Region

Simply complete the 51�� application and declare a STEM major* in the process. That's it! We'll contact you if you meet the eligibility requirements.

STEM scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis, with interviews starting in November for the upcoming spring semester.

The following are considered STEM majors at 51��:

CINSAM Scholarship

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be an incoming first-year student declaring a major in a STEM discipline.
Achieve a 3.0 GPA or higher in high school.
Complete the 51�� admissions application by the deadline, submit the application fee and high school transcript(s).
Participate in an on-campus scholarship interview during the spring semester for final consideration (if invited to do so).

To continue receiving this scholarship in subsequent years, recipients must:

Remain in one of the STEM disciplines (you may change majors within STEM and remain eligible).
Earn 24 or more credit hours per academic year (AP, IB, dual enrollment, and transfer credits do not count).
Make satisfactory progress toward your STEM degree as defined by following your approved academic plan.
Maintain a cumulative 51�� GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students with a GPA between 2.0 - 2.5 will be placed on a remediation plan to retain their scholarship.

(Recipients can only utilize one full 51�� tuition scholarship/waiver.)

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be an incoming first-year student declaring a major in a STEM discipline.
Have a composite ACT score of 25 or SAT score of 1210 or higher, and rank in the top 25% of their high school class. (If a student's high school does not have class rank information, then the student's GPA will be considered.)
Complete the 51�� admissions application by the deadline, submit the application fee, high school transcript(s), and ACT or SAT scores.
Participate in an on-campus scholarship interview during the spring semester for final consideration (if invited to do so).

To continue receiving this scholarship in subsequent years, recipients must:

Remain in one of the STEM disciplines (you may change majors within STEM and remain eligible).
Earn 24 or more credit hours per academic year (AP, IB, dual enrollment, and transfer credits do not count).
Maintain a cumulative 51�� GPA of 3.0 or higher each year (calculated at the end of each spring semester).

Helpful Tips

Students who submit their admissions application early have the best chance of being considered.

While not required, we recommend all students complete the FAFSA forms with their admissions application.
